Residence Time Distribution (RTD) of the CSTR

We reached the last step in the performance analysis of the CSTR. During the unsteady simulation we discussed in the previous lesson, we monitored the tracer as it left the tank through the outlet and collected the data to calculate the residence time distribution of the fluid in the tank. 

It is now time to explore how to process the data to obtain the RTD and learn how to analyze the results to understand the level of performance of the reactor. We will compare the residence time distribution with that of an ideal CSTR to see how good the mixing process for our geometry is.
